Historic centre and Palazzo Senza Tempo

What you do / see: walk past the Pieve di San Verano, contemporary art installations and the panoramic terrace of Palazzo Senza Tempo.

Tip: keep the visit to about one hour so there is enough time for Pisa.

Peccioli → Pisa

What you do / see: leave for Pisa and follow the fastest route shown by your navigator.

What you do / see: leave the car outside the centre and reach Piazza dei Miracoli on foot or using the available connection.

Stop 1

Piazza dei Miracoli

What you do / see: admire the Leaning Tower, Cathedral, Baptistery and Camposanto. Book ahead if you want to climb the Tower.

Stop 2

Piazza dei Cavalieri

What you do / see: visit the elegant square redesigned by Giorgio Vasari and home to the Scuola Normale Superiore.

Stop 3

Borgo Stretto and the Lungarni

What you do / see: stroll beneath the arcades of Borgo Stretto and continue along the Arno past historic buildings and city views.

If time allows

Keith Haring’s Tuttomondo

What you do / see: finish at the large mural near the station, one of the city’s best-known contemporary works.

Practical tip: leave early. If you book the Leaning Tower, choose the entry time before arranging the other stops.
